Thanks for reminding me!

So, my MIL is dead. She's been gone for over a year now. It's been tough, I really miss her. She was awesome, one of my best friends. Everyone knows that my mother in law died a year ago. I guess every one except for the telemarketers. Yes that's right, I'm getting phone calls for Dianna! It pretty much goes like this phone call did tonight:

ring ring

me, "Hello"

long pause

me, "HELLOOO"

tm, "Oh yes, uhh is Dianna there?"

me, "Umm, she's deceased"

tm, "What?"

me, "Deceased, she's dead."

tm, "Oh uhhh, uhhh are you her daughter?"

me, "Yes"

tm, "Oh, well we will be in your neighborhood this week trimming trees. Do you have any trees that need to be trimmed?"

me, "No" tm, "You don't have any trees to be trimmed?"

me, "Umm nope, we just have rocks in our front yard"


LOL that really threw her for a loop. Anyway, the only reason I'm even talking to these telemarketers i to tell them NOT to call me anymore. I don't know how in the heck they got *my* phone number and my MIL's name but they did, and it's starting to annoy me. I'd really rather not be reminded by a total stranger that one of my favorite people is gone :-(

This is one of the last pictures I have of us together taken at her 40th birthday party. She had been doing chemo and was bald, so she wore scarves and wigs. Her party was a hat party, so I swiped one of her scarves :-)
