Shameless mom bragging
We finished getting the garage transformed into a game/music/craft room. It's not totally organized yet, but it's at least put together! We saved the drum set that Jorge had in his music room, and JP set it up out there. Within a few hours we were a little deaf, but shocked at what Bryce had figured out. I think we need a little more foam to absorb the noise, I mean music.
Blake started on the swim team in September. He has been dying to dive off the diving blocks at swim practice. They are very high, 7 inches higher than your regulation size blocks. Someone fouled up when they installed them. Bryce says the combo of the angle and extra height is annoying, lots of kids fall off when they are learning to dive off them. Blake dove off beautifully, the very first time! I tried to get a picture but all I got was his splash! So his second time, I took a video instead :-) Sorry that it's sideways, I forgot that you can't turn a video right side up when you are done with it.
We'd been noticing some interesting eye activity in Marlie the last few months. A trip to the eye Dr. confirmed that she is farsighted! Today we picked up her glasses. She only has to wear them when she reads or does schoolwork. She'd like to wear them all the time, but she's too rough and tumble to wear them all the time. She looks so cute!
And last but not least, little Mason. He's not doing anything new or exciting just yet, unless you call hitting people, screaming and biting new and exciting. (((sigh))) I've forgotten how hard this age is. But he's cute, I'll give you that.
ETA- Okay, I completely take the "He's not doing anything exciting comment" back!! He slept thru the night last night. I put him to bed at 7pm and he woke up at 7:30am, ahhhhh. It only took 14 months LOL!!
