June!
It's crazy to think that June is nearly over! We've had so many things happen this month. The most exciting is that JP was offered a full-time job at our church! He's a part of the director/pastoral staff and will be running the local community outreaches. We are so excited! He starts July 1st.
Then our Blake turned 11! I can't believe he is in middle school! He wanted to go to Legoland instead of have a party, so Dad took him to Legoland one Monday. School was still in session, so Legoland was empty!
We took a trip to Magic Mountain with the kids. They had earned free tickets with MM's reading program. It was our "Yay you've graduated day!" We now have a 9th grader (yikes!), 6th grader and a 3rd grader + plus Mason.
My garden is growing bigger day by day. It looks sort of piddly still, but soon the lettuce, strawberries, zuccini, bell peppers, tomatos, etc... will be ready for harvest. We are using the square foot gardening method (Next time I'll use the grid). It's been so easy, it needs a blog post of it's own.
Last but not least, JP took on the incredible task of rebuilding our backyard fence. It's day 3, and he's halfway done! It will be so nice to have a tall fence that isn't falling down. Thank heaven our neighboors agreed to pay for their halves of the materials!

He choose cheese burgers and fries for dinner at Nana's house. My mom bought him this ball that bounces 125 feet in the air. So everyone came outside to play with it.
Marlie had her dance recital at the Casa Del Prado theatre!
