Marlie - toothless and crafty!
Marlie must have gotten Dianna's crafty gene. She's constantly asking me to do crafts with her. I found a set of knitting looms at a yard sale for a buck (score!). She made a purple hat for her Bitty Baby with the tiny loom. Then she started on this rainbow hat for herself. It's super cute, and she wears it everywhere. As soon as she finished her hat, she started making one for Mason. It's about 1/2 way done. I'll have to post a pic when she's done. ((sigh)) I wish Dianna was here to do crafty things with Marlie. I have the sweetest pictures of Marlie as an baby, sitting in Dianna's lap while she beaded. Marlie would sort the beads into little piles. I was amazed that she would sit with her Nana for so long, focused on the tiny little beads, even has a baby.
Do you see the gaping hole in Marlie's mouth?? It's missing tooth number 2! She looks so cute with it gone. She also has a funny little lisp now too! The tooth fairy brought her 1 dollar and a funny note. The tooth fairy always leaves funny notes. Sometimes she won't bring money because the kids bedroom stinks. Or because she forgot our address and couldn't remember where we lived. The boys say that we (JP and I) need to admit to ourselves that mom is the tooth fairy, but I won't admit anything, neither will JP. :-)
