Guess who's 7 months old??

Sweet baby Mason is 7 months old!. He's just so cute, that I decided that he needed a whole blog post to himself :-) Mason turned 7 months old last Thursday. He has 2 (SHARP!) teeth that sprouted about 2 week ago. Just a few days ago he started sitting up by himself. He still flops over backwards after about a minute, but that won't last long. He's already eating some solids. I usually feed him at night, (which is a really bad idea since our nights are so hectic), but he sleeps better with a big full belly, so we make it work. 2 weeks ago, I put him on the floor while I made dinner and he started rolling all over the playroom floor! He's gotten quite good at maneuvering himself around the house just by rolling. Does anyone remember who else did that??????

If you guessed Bryce, you're correct! But I learned my lesson (1 year and big bucks toward neurodevelopmental therapy) I'll be sure Mason crawls, unlike Bryce... (crawling was one of the first skills the neurodevelopmentalist made him work on!)

He's such a happy baby. He makes a funny little scrunched up face at you when he laughs. I'm afraid he's going to be spoiled rotten with all the attension he gets around here! The kids love playing with him. I think he's more fun for them now that he "does stuff".

Here's a conversation I overheard while the boys were watching him play on the floor

Blake, "What do you think he thinks about us?"

Bryce, "He thinks your the hyperest person in the world."

Blake, "No he dosen't, he thinks of milk in his tummy."

Marlie often feeds Mason for me at dinner time.

She's a huge help.

Mason's first time in the pool! He loved it.
