The birthday baby

Good Morning Birthday boy!!! Ready for some breakfast? I never thought I'd have another baby who could inhale food the way Bryce did. But this child can pack it in!! He ate a whole bananna (not a small one either!) and a whole peach and another half of a peach for breakfast.

Nana and Eden came over to visit Mason and wish him a happy birthday.

By 5:00 the birthday boy was miserable. He had a cold and was cutting teeth. He opened his presents (with lots of help from Bryce, Blake and Marlie) and then we went out for Chinese food. He loves stir fry, orange chicken and chow mein. He was pretty cranky though, and it was practically impossible to get him to smile in any picture at the restaurant.



At home we sang to him, and gave him a cupcake. He poked at the cupcake for a second, then attacked it. He practically shoved the whole thing in his mouth at once. It was pretty funny. The big kids were grossed out because he was such a mess. He ate the entire thing, and was happy as a clam (probably from the sugar high!) I popped him in the bath and promptly put him to bed. He slept great that night, but was miserable the next day. 2 days later, he had a molar break thru!

It was a a fun birthday for the big kids and JP and I, but I'm not sure he appreciated it. Hopefully he will be feeling better for his big birthday party.
