Beach camping
I think my favorite vacation is beach camping (okay okay, aside from staying in a 4 star hotel, LOL). But really, you can't beat $35 a night for an ocean view! We stayed from Sunday to Thursday. I was a little worried about camping with Mason. He's been a lousy sleeper these past few months and everyone going in and out of the trailer usually wakes him up. So I had JP set up our little 4 person tent for him and I to sleep in. He slept great, hooray!
The weather was warm, and so was the water. Mason loved the water! He crawled all over the beach at low tide, splashing in the puddles. I thought he'd cry when the water rolled over his legs, but he didn't. He just laughed. Looks like we have another water lover.

On this trip, last year, Blake knocked out his 2 front teeth. This time, JP stepped on a stingray! Poor guy, it was really really really painful. We kept running up and down the ramp from our campsites to the beach with boiling water to soak his foot in. Eventually, we had to get the lifeguards to take him up to our campsite, because it was too far for him to walk. He said it was the most painful thing he's ever experienced. The kids were super freaked out, and no one wanted to go into the water until he came down from the campsite and went back in the water.
Jessica let me borrow her super yard, and boy was it nice! Little Maso is all over the place, so having him contained was extremely helpful. We jokingly called it his super cube, because she could only find 4 of the panels instead of all 8. He didn't seem to mind that it was smaller than it was suposed to be.
After 5 days I was ready to go home. It was a great trip, but a girl can only handle so much dirt KWIM??
