Christmas crafty #1
I have been super busy with some really fun craft projects. Since I'm just a good copycat (meaning I swiped all of these ideas from the internet) I thought I'd share them.
**But if you are in my family, you might not want to read this until AFTER Christmas unless you don't want to be surprised, LOL!**
I've been sewing like a mad woman, making pot holders. I found a great tutorial here. http://www.aprettycoollife.com/2010/02/polka-dot-pot-holder.html I'ave been making mine a little different, doing things like only sewing 3 rows around, then making an "X" in the middle, and things like that. They've turned out really cute so far.
I paired my potholders with this reciper for M&M cookies in a jar

The cookies in a jar looks super cute and was easy to make. After you pack everything in the jar, I cut matching fabric to tie on the lid. Add the pre made M&M tag, and I was finished!
Ta-da! A potholder and cookies!
My Christmas sewing and crafting takes up a lot of space. My dining room table has been covered in fabric for weeks now. Everyone's been eating dinner at the bar again. With December 25th quickly approaching, I'm spending every spare second sewing.
